Plan Options

At Bethany Lutheran College, meal plans are designed to be a core part of the student experience. All residential students are required to participate in a meal plan, providing regular access to the Dining Center and ensuring consistent, convenient meals throughout the academic year. Commuter students also have the option to purchase a meal plan, offering added flexibility and value for those who spend time on campus between classes, work, and activities. Each plan is structured to make dining simple, accessible, and an easy part of your daily routine.

This plan gives students continuous access to the Dining Center during the hours of operation. This plan is required for all residential students who live in a standard room. It is also available to students in on-campus apartments and non-resident students.

This plan gives students five meals per week, approximately 88 meals per semester. This plan (or a larger plan) is required for students who live in on-campus apartments. It is also available to non-resident students. This plan is not available to resident students who live in a standard room.

Note: Apartment Students on the 5 Meal per week Plan can upgrade to the Unlimited Plan for an additional $1450 per semester.

Purchase Now

Dining dollar accounts are a way for non-resident students to pay for individual meals without using cash for each visit. (The Dining Dollar account option is not available for resident students.) Students carry a Dining Dollar balance on their ID card; at each meal taken, the cost of the meal is deducted from the balance. Dining Dollars are purchased directly from the food service cashier or online here. With Dining Dollars are purchased in an amount between $1 and $99 in a single transaction, a 10% credit will be given, or if the purchase of Dining Dollars is greater than $100 in a single transaction, a 20% bonus credit will be given. For example, a $30 purchase would add a $3 bonus credit for a total of $33 Dining Dollars to the student’s account.

Unused Dining Dollars will roll over from semester to semester and year to year. Any unused Dining Dollars remaining when a student is no longer enrolled in the College, or the faculty/staff is no longer employed by the College, shall be forfeited.
